Hayley Orrantia, an American performer, actress and music producer. Her most well-known roles is Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' an American comedy show. Even though she sings but her main passion is music. According to her, is the first thing she loves. She began playing with the instrument at the age of nine. By the time she reached age 12, she took serious enough about music to start studying professionally. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was 14 when she released her debut album of covers songs. There hasn't been a turning back ever since. Orrantia was raised in the USA but is of Hispanic roots. Though she grew up speaking only English and was never in Mexico she is very happy about her Hispanic roots. She tries to keep it alive by becoming fluent in Spanish as well as writing songs using the language. 'Hasta Verte' a song that she wrote in Spanish is one such attempt. Orrantia appeared in The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Orrantia was awarded 4 "yeses" from the judges at the Seattle live audition stage following being selected from her YouTube video submission. Her initial audition was for solo performance, but in "Hollywood week" she was placed along with three female vocalists in a trio for the remainder of the auditions. The group was eliminated at the fifth week of live show.
