Lita Rossana Ford popularly known as Lita Ford is a British-born American musician, songwriter and guitarist who served as the lead guitarist of the all-girl rock band The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their punkish sound and rebellious lyrics helped them get noticed in the rock world. The band was never able to the group to be an instant hit in the United States, but they gained a lot of attention in other countries particularly Japan. Ford's solo heavy metal career had a great success following the group break-up. She began to take voice lessons followed by her first album "Out For Blood" which was followed by "Dancin" at the Edge. Ford failed to make much with either album and remained out of the realm of rock for about a decade. The smash-hit album "Lita" was made available by Ford in 1988. After releasing 'Black, in 1995, and 'Wicked Wonderland just 15 years later, she reemerged. The year 2016 brought the release of her latest studio album "Time Capsule".
