Lita Rossana Ford (also also known as Lita Ford) is an British born American singer on guitar who took the lead for The Runaways a female hard rock band in the 70s. They were noticed by their raunchy songs and punk-rock design. The group wasn't success on the scene in the United States, it gained enormous popularity overseas. Ford enjoyed a lengthy and successful career as a solo heavy metal artist after the group split from 1979. Following vocal training, she launched her debut solo album, 'Out For Blood'.
