Lita Rossana Ford was born in Britain and was an American guitarist, vocalist as well as music writer. In the latter part of the 70s, she was the guitarist in the hard rocking All-girl group The Runaways. While the group was not successful within the United States, it gained huge popularity abroad. The band broke up in 1979 Ford embarked upon a successful solo career with heavy metal. After taking vocal lessons she debuted her own solo album, 'Out for Blood'.
