Lita Ford and Francia Raisa
Lita Rossana Ford or Lita Ford as she is more commonly known, was an American-born British singer and guitarist who led the women-only hard-rock group The Runaways during the late 1970s. The group was not able to make a significant impact in the United States but earned huge popular internationally, especially in Japan. Ford's solo career in heavy metal was successful after the 1979 split of the band. She began to take voice lessons followed by her first album "Out for Blood" and then "Dancin" at the Edge. Ford vanished for some years from the music scene as the two albums failed to get the attention they deserved. In 1988, Ford returned to the scene with an amazing album titled "Lita. Kiss Me Deadly, and Close My Eyes Forever both became big hits. Unfortunately her popularity was only short-lived, and she disappeared for a few years. In 1995, she dropped 'Black' and 15 years later , 'Wicked Wonderland. In 2016, her latest album'Time Capsule' was released. Guitar Player Magazine has awarded her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
