Lita Rossana Ford Also called Lita Ford is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who was born in the UK. She was the lead guitarist for The Runaways, a hard-rock band made up of all females in the late 1970s. Their punkish music and provocative lyrics helped them get noticed by the rock community. The band did not enjoy any fans in the United States. However, their fame grew internationally and especially in Japan. Ford launched a solo heavy-metal career following the split from her band in 1979. She took vocal lessons and then released her debut solo album , 'Out for Blood' followed by 'Dancin' on the Edge. Ford did not achieve anything with either of them and was largely absent from the world of rock for about 10 years. The smash hit album "Lita" was launched by Ford in 1988. Kiss Me Deadly (single) as well as Close My Eyes Forever (ballad) were among her greatest hits. Unfortunately, the success of her career was not last long and after a few years she went under the radar. Re-emerging with albums "Black" in 1995 and "Wicked Wonderland" which came out almost 15 years following. "Time Capsule" was her album "Time Capsule" was released by her in 2016.
