Born Kellie Dawn Pickler on the 28th of June, 1986. Pickler experienced a turbulent childhood. When she was two she left her mother's abusive relationship. Then, in 1995, she re-entered into the world of Pickler and was granted the custody rights. It was, however, not an enjoyable time for her. Her grandparents took care of Pickler from age 12 up to the age of adulthood. In the absence of the parents of her, Pickler was too busy as a mother to her kids. In absence of her parents Pickler was too busy to take classes. Instead she started learning how to look after her family earlier in time. Pickler participated in cheerleading at the middle and high school she attended. North Stanly High School graduated her in 2004. Pickler also tried her hand as a model. Her title was Miss Stanly. The year 1984 saw her debut in the film Once Upon a Time in America. The actress began her modeling career at a young age.
