Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has won numerous awards for her works. She has been a vocal advocate for the rights of animals. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). The daughter of an artistic family living in New York she wished to be a part of the art. She began working as a photographer's assistant, and later moved into modeling and acting. The first two films she made were noticed and she received an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw became a global superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office star of the globe after just three movies. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and signatures were recorded at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The actress has appeared in a variety of different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw is married three times.
